| Experience : | I have limited formal teaching experience. I once worked as a temporary teacher for 2 months in 2012, teaching Islamic studies to secondary students. Despite my limited experience, I have always tutored my friends throughout school and college informally for free. My friends showed considerable improvements after some tuition sessions with me, for example one of them who regularly failed Add Maths ended up scoring B+ in SPM. I genuinely enjoy roles that require teaching and guiding, I find them rewarding even if done for free. I am also a strategic and organized person, and I consider strategic planning as my forte. I was a debater since high school up until university, thus I am trained to deliver my points with clarity. My rigorous experience in law school has also trained me to think critically which I believe is a beneficial skill to employ in my teaching approach. I believe I have the necessary qualities for an effective home tutor. |
