| Experience : | I am a current graduate student (Masters in Research in Immunology and Infection) at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. I have been a part time tutor for the past 3 years, mostly coaching my peers and secondary school students. I teach mainly English language, Biology and Chemistry. I can also assist with international English language examinations which include IELTS, TOEFL and MUET. My main goal in being a personal tutor is to change the students' attitude towards learning and studying. I aspire to make the students more comfortable in exploring different areas of knowledge and develop a decent aptitude in English language. I generally develop different teaching styles depending on each student's learning style. I would help develop relevant and interactive academic materials to supplement school/college materials. I have been honored with a scholarship by the government (Majlis Amanah Rakyat, MARA) for my outstanding performance during SPM. |
