Experience : | I am currently a PhD student, used to be an engineer and a lecturer.
My approach would be through understanding the topics and not by memorizing: there would be probably lots of video lectures that we would go through (Uni level such as MIT, IIT, and even a good explaination video of a certain topics: example electromagnetics for dummies, rotational mass explained,...etc)
I'll prefer to use electronics media (videos, blogs, websites), then only followed by textbooks, if need be even journal articles, including practices. I'd also like to share my experiences in practical fields (as an engineer) and how you can actually apply what you'll learn in the real world as a profession that you choose in future.
I have: 1.5 years of teaching experience in UCSI University (Departments of Mechanical and Mechatronics) - for bachelor students (per class: 40 -60 students) - Subjects: Statics (mathematics & physics), Dynamics (mathematics & physics), Fluid Power & Drivers, Control System - Supervising in Final year projects (4 students) & Project work (2 groups) - advisor for the student club - advisor to the IEM student chapter (UCSI University) - advisor to Industrial Advisory Board, mechatronics and mechanical department - counselor for assgined group of students - achievement : increase percentage of passing and gred As (bell curve distribution) |
