Experience :	I am a final-year TESL undegraduate student in UM, and I am taking a minor in Literature. I am very passionate about teaching, literature, and the English language, and I have plenty of experience in tutoring English. I represented my school in a number of debate and public speaking competitions, and I was a very active writer and poet. Currently, I am teaching children's public speaking and creative writing, and privately tutoring 7 students on an individual basis (three students for public speaking, four for creative writing). For creative writing, I often encourage my students to put themselves in their writing and explore their own creativity at their own pace. I am incredibly passionate in all that I do, and I have been described by the people around me (e.g. my friends and teachers) as outspoken, opinionated and outgoing, as well as enthusiastic and expressive. I believe that in order to be a successful teacher, one must be competent, compassionate and empathetic towards the students.
